About Carolina RAIN
Headquartered out of Charlotte, RAIN works to bring lifesaving treatment to individuals impacted by HIV. Through their impactful work, these individuals can live stigma-free and healthy. RAIN served 754 individuals during 2020 and continued to expand their work in the Charlotte area, despite the pandemic.
RAIN's work has not gone unnoticed in the health community. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Ford Foundation and the state of North Carolina HIV/STD Care Branch have recognized their efforts. Additionally, RAIN’s work has been featured on CBS Evening News, NC public television and in two national HIV/AIDS magazines, HIV Plus and A and U.
